Photo Radar Ban Passes Senate
The Arizona State Senate voted to ban photo radar on Arizona freeways with a vote passing Senate Bill 1146. Contact your state legislator to urge a vote once this bill visits the House. Read more about pending photo radar legislation on our Legislation page.

Photo Radar Starts on Loop 101
Despite a recent court decision ruling Scottsdale's enforcement practices invalid, the city has moved forward with its pilot project on the Loop 101.  Cameras began snapping photos on January 22nd.  Registered owners will receive tickets starting February 20th, regardless of who was driving at the time of the alleged violation.  The city's procedure falls short of state law according to the judge who ruled against Scottsdale and recipients are free to ignore the mailed citations.
